About

Smart Comp Tech partners with Network Rail, TFL and HS2 to develop low-cost monitoring solutions for the British railway. Our team designed and developed a web portal which allows engineers to closely monitor railway sensors.

Problem

SCT has various products which monitor critical assets on the railway and other industries like mining and energy. Their in-house engineers were facing several design challenges when translating the technical data into readable information.

Solution

We designed a component led UI using Adobe XD. We then built a SPA (Single-page application) in React to communicate with a RESTful API written in Python using the micro framework Flask and other packages.

Result

Our user-friendly UI provides engineers with the ability to clearly see faults across the railway network. The portal also enables organisations to easily add new users and devices.
